Like KRK’s Rokit monitors (above), ADAM Audio‘s speakers are aimed more at studio rats than DJs. That doesn’t mean they can’t get the job done in a home mixing environment. Far from it. ADAM’s T7V monitors offer 7″ woofers, the famous 1.9″ U-ART ribbon tweeters, plus two Class D amplifiers: 50 watts RMS for the woofer, and 20 watts RMS on the tweeter for a combined pair total of 110 dB SPL. Granted, these aren’t the loudest speakers on this list, so if that’s a concern, maybe steer clear.
Who are ADAM Audio’s monitors for then? Producers who also DJ, or DJs who also produce, and want to try something other than Rokits. DJs will, however, appreciate the RCA inputs along with the line input and XLR.
