Since the rebrand, Studio Pro has been moving towards the integration of seamless production tools and AI-assisted processes that make creating music more intuitive and fun.
Fender Studio Pro 8.1 Update
The update includes a new studio assistant, which is currently available in its public beta for Studio Pro+ subscribers. This centralizes support and tutorials in one place, along with any information you’d like to know about the instruments, effects, or other functions of Studio Pro. This allows you to familiarize yourself with different aspects of the DAW interface without interrupting your workflow, which is an encouraging thought for new users.
Also in Studio Pro 8.1 is a new integration feature called Moises Studio, which gives you quick access to stem separation, vocal transformation, and stem generation based on the profile of existing tracks. The idea is to provide a toolset to inspire new musical ideas or to help you fill in the missing puzzle pieces in your unfinished arrangements. Within Moises Studio, Studio Pro users are limited to 10 audio stem separations, 12 stem separations, and five voice conversations each month.
Meanwhile, the new Vocal Tune plugin provides a straightforward interface for vocal pitch correction with the ability to do subtle, transparent tuning or completely transform the vocal signal with the format shift control. This allows you to approach the vocal processing differently according to the style of music you’re working with.

In addition, there are enhancements to the Score Editor, and the timing offsets of notes can be adjusted according to the selected articulation. Overall, while the new features are certainly innovative, there is a definite move that positions the Studio Pro+ subscription at the top of the user hierarchy, which won’t fill perpetual license holders with hope moving forward.
Fender Studio Pro replaces Studio One: Fender becomes a Recording Brand
[13 Jan] Fender Studio Pro 8 becomes the heart of the new Fender production system, along with a range of audio interfaces and MIDI controllers.
It’s been a long time coming, and this consolidation under Fender will allow the DAW and its peripherals to appeal to a new generation of musicians. If you think back to the recent release of the Fender Studio app, which has now been updated to version 1.2, it makes perfect sense.
Fender Studio Pro 8 and the Rebrand
If you’re a current Studio One user, there’s nothing to worry about. You’re getting the next version of the same familiar DAW platform with a range of enhancements, including overdue UI updates, Fender Mustang, and Rumble native plugins with a huge selection of amps and pedals.
What’s more, there are improvements to software instruments like Impact and SampleOne, and some exciting AI-assisted creative tools for music production. This includes the drum and note extraction processes for converting audio drum hits and melodies into MIDI to be used with other virtual instruments.
There is also a range of integration options for linking Studio Pro with other platforms and hardware devices like the Fender Studio app, which becomes like a little brother, and even the Tone Master Pro pedal can be used as a controller for Studio Pro, while being able to receive program changes from the Show Page.

This new range includes the Fender AudioBox GO, the Fender Quantum LT and HD audio interface, as well as the Fender Motion MIDI controllers, which are adapted from the PreSonus ATOM series.
