Guitar Journal: Harley Benton Infinity Mirror Guitar!

This week, we check out what has been happening since the end of last year, and with NAMM 2026 in only a few weeks, there have been a few teases and announcements ahead of the show. In the lull between Christmas and New Year, these teased products have piqued our interest!

Before I get into the pre-NAMM 2026 teases, I wanted to share this funky T-style guitar!

Harley Benton TE-20

Over the last week, I spotted this interesting Harley Benton Infinity Mirror Guitar on YouTube. The matondesign channel on YouTube took a regular Harley Benton TE-20 and added a rail pickup and a very fancy infinity mirror with LEDs that light up and create an effect as you play.

According to the channel, it uses four 1.2V rechargeable AA NiMH batteries to power an ATmega chip and the LEDs. Great work, and I was suitably impressed by the result.

LED Infinity!

This shows what can be achieved with some LED lights, ingenuity, and plenty of time to modify your guitar. I’m looking forward to seeing more modded guitars in 2026, as these types of projects really show what you can achieve with a little bit of hard work and a crazy idea.

Marshall Teases JCM 900 with Funky Graphics

I spotted Marshall teasing a JCM 900 combo on Instagram, featuring funky-looking graphics on the grill cloth and the phrase “Coming soon…”, and so we could see a new modded line of classic tube amps from them this year.

Custom Hi Gain Dual Reverb?

There isn’t much to go on, but we can see it is a 20-watt Hi Gain Dual Reverb model in the short Instagram reel.

So perhaps similar specifications to the amp head version, and with a new custom look for 2026? Marshall has offered custom amps for quite some time, but this one is being teased and promoted ahead of NAMM, so could this be a new line?

Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Revv Amps Custom-Voiced Guitar Speakers

This one is not a rumour, but a new set of Custom-Voiced Guitar Speakers from Revv Amps, and a first for them. They have been designed with Warehouse Guitar Speakers (WGS) and created to be the perfect match for their amps.

The result is two new Revv Amps custom speakers.

Revv Speaker Lineup

First up is the new RV30 (75-watt), a V30-style speaker custom-voiced specifically for the Generator series. Then there is the RV90, which is a Creamback-inspired speaker built for maximum clarity, punch, and musicality.

From now on, all Revv stock cabinets will come equipped with RV30 or RV90 speakers. As Upgrades, you can purchase these speakers individually to upgrade your current Revv cabinet or D25 combo.

Prices are $179.00 for the RV30 and RV90 in either 8 or 16 ohms.

DSM & Humboldt Tease

Finally, DSM & Humboldt is teasing a new product ahead of NAMM, and we only have one small image to go on, so zero information yet.

“Some stories can’t be rushed. This one is wrapped with care —and will be revealed in January 2026.”

What is it? Simplifier 2026?

The dark image shows what appears to be maybe three channels and possibly six inputs and outputs on the back of the unit.I’m guessing it will be another handy Simplifier X-like tool for us guitarists (or perhaps bassists), so this one will definitely be worth looking out for at NAMM this month.

Again, let me know in the comments below what you think this one could be.
