This new update combines measure, alignment, and acoustic correction within the ARC X Immersive platform that lets you turn an industry-standard surround speaker install into a listening environment you can trust to translate onto a wide range of playback devices.
ARC X Immersive measures and calibrates your speaker system using a completely automated workflow that works holistically across the entire setup. To ensure precise imaging and tonal balance, the software aligns the level, phase, and timing of each speaker and processes the system with a room correction profile over the full frequency range.
The idea behind this streamlined process, besides a quicker setup, is to be able to achieve great results even in untreated audio environments where the speaker placement might not be ideal. The calibration profile is processed onto ARC-enabled iLoud speakers or using ARC Studio for 3rd-party speakers. This means the correction profile runs globally, regardless of the DAW or playback app being used.
IK Multimedia ARC X Immersive
Apart from subwoofer alignment and management, ARC X Immersive also integrates with the new IK Multimedia immersive speaker bundles for a 7.1.4 out-of-the-box system that is easy to configure.

The beauty of the new ARC X software is that it incorporates seamlessly into your current setup. This means it works with a wide range of studio monitor models, as well as the ARC Studio and measurement mic. This means that if you already own the iLoud Micro Monitor Pro, iLoud MTM MKII, iLoud Precision MKI, ARC Studio, or the ARC 4 software, you are eligible for a free ARC X license.
IK Multimedia ARC X
The ARC X system uses three-dimensional mapping to analyze the listening environment precisely. This allows any issues to be ironed out without altering or distorting the natural quality of the sound. The optimization process is just as straightforward as ever, and it delivers acoustic correction that is truly transparent to help you achieve better mixes.
The setup takes only a few minutes, and once the room profile is created, you can then load it onto any iLoud monitor system for standalone operation. In addition, ARC X profiles can be tuned manually with the built-in EQ, and there is a range of 20 speaker emulation profiles, so you can check your mixes on a range of professional and consumer playback systems.
The ARC X system is included with the new iLoud Precision MKII monitors, and it also renders the ARC 4 and X-MONITOR apps obsolete. Also, if you have the first generation of iLoud Precision monitors, you can simply update your firmware, and you’ll be able to download ARC X for free.
