Flanger/Doubler
The MXR Flanger/Doubler is an all-analog pedal based on the original bucket-brigade circuitry of the legendary rack effect unit. The original rack was used by players including Dimebag Darrell and so it has quite a cult following these days.
Pedal Format
This new pedal format recreation contains the Flanger/Doubler circuit of the original, so it will do the jet-engine swoosh and chorusing effects that everyone chases. Thankfully, the pedal is going to be a lot easier to use, as it is designed for use on a pedalboard and a guitar signal (and also line signals).
Controls
Dial in your sweep range and modulation rate with Manual, Width, and Speed; adjust the Regen to control feedback intensity from a subtle shimmer to an aggressive resonance; blend your dry and wet signals using the Mix control.
Finally, use the Invert Switch to flip the wet signal’s polarity, shifting the output from airy and hollow to punchy and mid-forward. The two LEDs are easy to read and show the effect working in real time.

Control Voltage
This pedal also includes CV (control voltage) with both in and out ports on the back. This allows users to sync the effect to a synth or DAW, etc. The pedal also comes with a Input Level switch on the back, so it can handle hotter signals, without clipping the input stage. Perfect for using it with synths, drum machines and more.
