PRS has launched more of the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 models, and this time they have mango tops and a satin nitro finish.

Paul Reed Smith has been busy in 2025 with an onslaught of releases, which this month includes the new satin nitro finished 40th Anniversary Custom 24 model. Earlier today, we saw the announcement of the new PRS SE DGT Laurel Burl Limited Edition, and now we have another limited-run US Core model.
This latest take on the classic PRS guitar model, which launched the company, comes with a mango top and an ebony fretboard. We recently saw a mango top for the Mark Holcomb Core signature models, and now it is available on these limited-run Custom 24 models.
They have a mahogany body and a Pattern Thin mahogany neck with a set of the PRS Old School Birds fretboard inlays with outlines on the ebony fretboard and the customary 24 frets.

PRS DMO
They come fitted with the PRS DMO Bass (neck) and PRS DMO Treble (bridge) humbucking pickups, controlled by a 5-way blade switch and a single master volume and tone control. This offers a wide range of tones and makes these Custom 24 models perfect for lots of music styles.

Satin Nitrocellulose
Hardware includes a set of PRS Phase III locking machine heads with Wing Buttons and the PRS Gen III tremolo.

These limited-run models are available at Thomann, priced $6229/£5666/€6449. The satin nitrocellulose finish is available in Tri-Color Burst, Faded Whale Blue, and Cobalt Smokeburst with Smoked Black hardware.
