DOD Drag
The DOD Drag delay is the latest pedal release from Digitech/DOD and follows on from the recent Wha-Octa-Fuzz collaboration with Morley in June. This new delay is a BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) design and is fully analog.
Rubberneck Mode
It offers up to 750 ms of delay time with a special Rubberneck mode that provides 1.5 seconds. It has main controls for Level, Time, Feedback, and Filter. Along with the two smaller Drift and Friction controls on either side of the footswitch.

Friction, Drift, Slidestop, & Evade
The Friction system can be accessed via an external footswitch and warps the delay in real time. Then Slidestop and Evade modes offer pitch shifting and tape-stop-style delay effects. The pedal can be used with the optional FS3X footswitch to make the most of the modes. Then the Drift control accesses sine, reverse saw, square, and random waveforms.
The pedal design uses top-mounted jacks, has a 3.5mm input for the FS3X footswitch, and it runs on 9V DC (no battery power option). The DOD reversible StagePlate allows either floor use or pedalboard mounting.
It is officially priced at $219.99 and available to order now.

Amp Crash
Death By Audio and Rainger FX have teamed up to release the new Amp Crash pedal, which features a mini amp, 2-inch speaker, and an internal microphone, all with built-in effects.
It is a real amp in a pedal, not just an emulation. The built-in speaker pumps out sound (though it can be bypassed and sent to an external 8-ohm speaker cab), and the amp section is rated at 3 watts.
FX
The unit includes Reverb, Echo, and Chorus effects, with basic Depth and Time controls for editing them, plus DI Out and Mic Out controls, and a Mic Gate switch. This allows users to blend the direct amp signal with the internal mic sound to create some grungy, dirty amp tones.

Dirty Amp Tones
It looks like a lot of fun, but I doubt it will offer much in the way of clean tones. However, if you like dirty mini-amp tones, then this new amp-in-a-pedal should appeal to you. The new pedal/amp is currently pre-order and officially priced at $395.

Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock
Captured right from the stage with a Sony video camera, this legendary 1970 Woodstock performance has finally come to light. Previously, this footage appeared once on the 2005 Hendrix Woodstock DVD as an extra, but is now available once more for free online via the official Jimi Hendrix YouTube channel.
Stage View
A 22-year-old drama student from Bard College, Albert Goodman, captured Hendrix’s famous performance on video. Hidden away for more than half a century, the newly restored footage was released earlier this week and offers fans an unprecedented, alternative up-close look at the historic set from the side of the stage.
It is well worth a watch now that it is free, so grab a beverage and watch Hendrix do his thing from a whole new perspective.
